Games in a Pub - 16th October 2011

More new faces and six games in one evening

Last night saw yet more new faces and apologies from some of our regulars.

We managed to play six very varied games during the evening:

Carcassonne -3 players
Carcassonne - The players
Lay tiles to build a medieval landscape of castles, roads and monasteries.

Forbidden Island – 3 players
Forbidden Island - The board with half the island under water

A collaborative game with adventurers trying to liberate / rescue 4 treasures from a sinking island

Hey That’s My Fish! – 2 players

Penguins eating fish under an ice flow in what looks a child like game but is actually quiet tactical

Braggart – 6 players
Braggart - The players

Adventures boasting of their daring deeds and the fearful monsters they have defeated – like the Village Cat!

Pinguin Party – 6 players

A penguin card game about building a penguin pyramid – something they do all the time!

The Resistance – 8 players
The Resistance - The players with 3 spies and one of them is in red! Although maybe not the one you would think from this photo.

The resistance has been infiltrated by spies but in this game of concealed identities can you spot the bad guys and ensure they do not sabotage your missions?

More photo's from the evening can be seen here.

Our next event at the Blue Anchor, Crowborough is in two weeks time on Sunday 30th October starting at 7pm - £1 per head. More details can be seen on our Facebook Page Social Gamers - Crowborough
